So, what was the problem?
HHIC's objective is to educate UK households on all aspects of central heating - from advice on energy efficiency, to information on fixing a boiler. Although the content was there, it wasn't categorized, accessible or interactive, moreover, it was rarely ever seen by the public.
HHIC needed a new site to tick all the boxes of their objectives - Communicate information, help visitors find local companies, and provide easy access to an advice library. But how do you make Central Heating interesting?
How did we help?
We started by thinking about all the reasons a visitor may come to the site, what information would they be looking for and how the homepage should captures the attention of visiting traffic with various needs.
We created additional functionality into our Content Management System to allow HHIC to easily grow their advice library, content, installer details and assets. HHIC were able to take advantage of the flexibility of our CMS, meaning we were able to rapidly create a website administration system bespoke to their specific needs, which of course meant HHIC had a perfect system to maintain their website, all possible within a very reasonable budget.
A standard 'edit page' CMS simply wouldn't have cut it, and HHIC are looking forward to effortlessly keeping their site relevant and up to date, while continuously growing the advice library and online recourses.
