The CentralHeating.co.uk website, run by the HHIC, aims to be a central portal for domestic heating information. With a growing library of media, information, documents and user generated content, Rawnet’s CMS was the obvious choice.

The purpose of the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) website is to act as a central information point for consumer and Industry to find important facts on domestic heating and hotwater and also to assist them in making decisions.

Rawnet demonstrated an innovative approach to categorizing and organizing the content so that it is useful and easy to find by visitors to the website. Our experience in Information Architecture allows us to ensure the finalized project is a success due to visitors finding what they want through great interface design and intelligent search functionality.

The main benefit we could offer however was that the site could be maintained by our robust Content Management System framework. Our framework allows us to apply powerful content management to a bespoke backend application, created specifically for the needs of the CentralHeating website. Backend systems are far more effective if the CMS knows what content it dealing with – be it an FAQ, Whitepaper, installation steps or contact information. The bespoke system will be quick to deploy, efficient to use, and easy to learn.

The new site is due to launch early next year, and we look forward to working with the team at HHIC to provide an innovative website that is the central portal for domestic heating information.
